Rock mass has fallen onto walking and cycling path. Police on scene, area blocked off, awaiting municipal/NVE representative. Drone being used to assess further risk.
A large rock estimated at 20-50 tons fell onto the path, forcing closure of RV36 toward Porsgrunn and the bike/pedestrian path. Geologists have assessed the area and determined it's safe to reopen the road, but will continue monitoring for potential further rockfall.
