Flood warning for overflows and flooding. Weather conditions have improved. No further precipitation is expected in the coming days. Water levels of flowing waters are falling everywhere. The level 1 reporting threshold has already been fallen below at the Miesbach Schlierach gauge. The warning for overflows at Lake Schliersee will be maintained. Falling below level 1 is expected for Friday, February 27, 2026, around noon. The water level of Lake Tegernsee has just not reached level 1 at its peak. Should rainfall occur in the catchment area contrary to current forecasts, level 1 could be exceeded. This is not currently expected. Please monitor further developments, especially as a lakeshore resident at Lake Schliersee and Lake Tegernsee.
